GREECE

The first time we visited Greece was only because a flight to Madeira got cancelled at the airport, and we randomly ended up in Santorini instead for a week.

Despite the crowds and the cruise ships there, it made us question why we’d left it quite so long.

Skip forward to last summer, and a glorious three weeks of hopping between a trio of very special Small Cyclades islands by local ferry made us realise that there’s definitely going to be a lot more Greece in our travel plans.

Watch this space - and just remember that the further a Greek island is from the airport, the more likely it’s going to be one you’ll savour.
